Before this update, users could only request the chatbot(Bard) to find videos, such as funny or motivational videos. Google mentioned that they rolled out this update because of users’ choice to engage with YouTube videos more deeply. To benefit from this feature and chat with Bard about YouTube videos, you need to enable the YouTube extension on Bard’s chatbot portal.
Bard’s Chatbot Availability To Teens
Google not only added this feature to the YouTube extension, but about two weeks back they mentioned that Bard will be available for more age groups. “Bard is expanding access to teenagers in most countries around the world, starting with English. We’ve added age-appropriate protections, updated onboarding for teenagers, and developed experiences geared to empower exploration and learning with Bard”.
Teens can now ask Bard about anything, from college applications to learning new sports. This will enhance the user experience with the Bard chatbot, making it a more efficient platform for learning and saving time.
