Crypto Leaks alleges swindling between blockchain executives, involving the Founding Partner of Roche Friedman law firm, Kyle Roche, exposed in an undercover video. Ava Labs in collaboration with Kyle Roche were behind lawsuits targeting Solana and the Dfinity Foundation.
Video recordings show Kyle Roche claiming to have obtained a large amount of equity in AVAX stocks and tokens as a part of an agreement in which the law firm was supposed not to take legal actions against Ava Labs and instead instigate to pursue and attack its contenders. Crypto Leaks alleges that Ava Labs allocated 1% of AVAX’s supply to support Roche’s work.
Roche affirmed that the pact between Ava Labs and his firm was initiated after starting as a “crypto expert” for the crypto company, but that this expertise had villainous roots. He was able to obtain sensitive information such as commercial data and private accounts from other blockchain projects.
The infamous Founding Partner of this law firm reportedly runs litigations against crypto adversaries. Reportedly, he does this by initiating class actions which he claimed to be carrying out more than 25 at the moment.
Ava Labs’ cofounder, Emin Gun Sirer, has denied claims by Kyle Roche that Ava Labs contracted the law firm to take Avalanche’s competitors to court. This Ava Labs executive released a Medium statement in which he refutes those claims.
Response To Crypto Leaks Allegations
“The allegations on this site are categorically false. Ava Labs believes in transparency and facing the world head-on, not through behind-the-scenes dealing or activity,” he said. “Neither I nor anyone else at Ava Labs ever directed Roche in his selection of cases. We do not receive materials or information from him, and we do not entrust our legal affairs to him.” – Emin Gun Sirer stated.
Roche also released a public Medium statement in which he points his fingers at Mr. Ager-Hansen. He attests that Ager-Hanssen has requested a meeting (where the videos took place) with him under the false premise of a venture capital investment, but with the real intention of tricking him. Roche’s response to the claims was that Mr. Ager-Hansen had the videos highly edited and taken out of context.
