Warner Bros. is revolutionizing the release of “The Flash” by offering it as an NFT. The sale will start on July 18, and they will release the film on digital platforms.
Fans can purchase the film through “The Flash” Web3 Movie Experience via the blockchain service Eluvio. Buyers can use credit cards or cryptocurrency and enjoy watching the film in 4K Ultra HD resolution. Owners can access special features, collect artwork, and unlock augmented reality (AR) collectibles.
Warner has stated that they stored the digital content on the Eluvio blockchain, not just the NFT access token. Fans have two NFT options, and every purchase includes a randomly assigned character-based key art of varying rarity.
What’s More?
The “Mystery” edition is $35 and includes a random key art and dynamic menu. They limited the Mystery edition to 10,000 copies.
You can only purchase the “Premium” edition for $100, and there are only 2,000 copies available. It features a motion art piece (The Flash, Supergirl, and Batman together or Dark Flash) and all four dynamic menu interfaces. Additionally, it includes exclusive special features.
Owners of “The Flash” Web3 Movie Experience will receive a voucher to claim a DC3 Super Power Pack NFT from the DC NFT Marketplace. The Super Power Pack includes three digital comics with different rarity levels.
